This Zip Archive contains files created in CadSoft’s Eagle (Schematic & Printed Circuit

Board Layout program) Version 4.11r2 Lite. The files are intended for the building of the
|
||
“El Cheapo” (Microchip) PIC Programmer from Myke Predko. The Programmer is
|
||
documented at http://www.myke.com/elcheapo.htm as well as in two books by Myke Predko,
|
||
“Programming Robot Controllers” and
|
||
“PROGRAMMING AND CUSTOMIZING PICmicro MICROCONTROLLERS”

NOTES:

If you open the files in eagle you will get a notification about the board and schematic not being
|
||
consistent, due to the fact that I changed some component and net names after the board had been
|
||
routed. I’ll fix that in a next revision of the board when I find the time, but the connections have NOT
|
||
been altered from a time when the board was considered to be consistent.
|
||
|
||
The DB25 connector is a WIRED TYPE i.e. a plug on a cable, I don’t think the footprint will
|
||
work on a board mounted connector.
|
||
|
||
I have not built this board however I have checked it alongside the original schematic and I believe
|
||
Everything is correct.
|
||
